Tennis Staff Bios

Jordan is a certified USPTA Pro. He currently teaches group and private lessons to all ages. Jordan also owns and operates Precision Stringing, which handles all of the racket stringing for The Valley and other clubs. Jordan Coons Rich has a Master's degree in Management and brings those skills to his work with The Valley. He has been the Men's Night coordinator for the last 5 years and a member since 1992. Rich Chubb Trevor is the club's head Tennis Pro. He coaches and instructs all ages and levels. He also spends a lot of time with advanced juniors as well as helping train the USTA teams. He has been coaching tennis for over 20 years. Trevor Rothfels Doug is a certified USPTA Tennis Pro. Doug attended the University of Washington where he received his degree in Physical Education and was a four-time letterman in tennis. Doug coached the University of Washington Husky Men's team to 12 consecutive Pac-10 titles and was honored as coach of the year 11 times. Since leaving the University of Washington in 1994, Doug has begun competing on the senior circuit where he has won national championships in both singles and doubles. Because of his success, Doug was selected to the National Dubler Cup Team to represent the United States in international competition in Austria and South Africa. He's been ranked #1 in the Pacific Northwest and in 1996 was ranked #3 in the nation. Doug Ruffin Lois is a long-time employee of The Valley. She is involved with welcoming the new tennis members, helping run the Women's Flights and Senior Tennis programs. Lois Wright
