Why play Squash
Squash is challenging at every level and provides on all-body workout in a short period of time. Squash helps to improve aerobic capacity, balance and coordination. Mentally, you’ve got to outsmart your opponent. BUT, most of all – it’s a fun way to exercise.

U.S. Forbes Magazine recently pronounced squash as the “Number 1″ sport for health and fitness finishing ahead of rowing, rock climbing, swimming, cross country skiing or basketball. So give squash a try.
Squash Booking & Court Use
Book in advance to ensure availability. Squash reservations can be made up to 4 days in advance, through our on line Reservation system or by calling the Concierge Desk at 360-352-3400. Players are asked to ensure their court is booked prior to playing.
Important Squash Information
- Loaner squash racquet’s are available for use at the Snack Bar. Please leave member tag to secure the racquet’s.
- Protective eye wear is strongly recommended.
- Only gum soled footwear or non-marking footwear is allowed on the court
Discover Squash
Day: Tuesdays
Time: 5:30 – 6:30pm
Dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26
This class is designed for adult BEGINNERS who have never played squash before. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of Squash in a series of four 45 minute group lessons. Additional classes may be added.
Min 2 / Max 4.
Summer Squash Ladder
Days/Times: Flexible schedule
Date: June 2 – July 31

Cost: Free for all Silver & Gold members
There’s fun and friendly competition for everyone in the Valley’s Co-ed Squash Ladder! The goal of the ladder is to promote active play and socializing. The ladder offers flexible times to suit both you and your opponents. Ladder rules will be posted. The ladder is open to all levels of players.
Squash Open Challenge Night
Dates: Mondays
Time: 5:30 – 7:30 pm
The emphasis is to have fun while playing in a spirited and friendly competition. No prior sign up is required, just come ready to play. Play one game against the winner on the challenge court. The winner stays on to play the next challenger. There is a maximum of 2 consecutive games per winner. Players of all skill levels are invited. Join us Monday nights 5:30 -7:30 pm on Squash Court #7
Junior Squash Program
Day: Saturday
Time: 10:30 – 11:30am
Sessions: June 2 – 23
The Junior Squash Program focuses on developing the fundamentals, using games and drills to develop swing, court movement and fitness in a fun and positive atmosphere. As the players abilities increase, a more disciplined approach will be applied. Students will be divided into groups based on skill Level.
Complimentary Beginner Squash Lessons
15 min squash lessons available on a first come, first serve basis – intended for new players. Limited availability. Racquet and ball will be supplied.

Private Squash Lessons
DO YOU WANT TO…Learn the game of Squash? Raise your game to the next level? Private lessons are tailored to a player’s individual needs, beginner through advanced levels. Lessons are 45 minutes long and available on a limited basis with the Valley Squash Pro.

Gold & Silver members – $30 per lesson
Bronze members – $40.50
Non member – $50.50
Package of 4 lessons
Gold & Silver members – $100
Bronze members – $115

General Squash Information
Racquets and eye wear will be available for class use, if needed. Additional classes may be added if there is sufficient interest. Also, if the scheduled times don’t work for you, contact Brenda Howe, Ext. #233.
