Yoga 4 All

Cost: Free to all members

Yoga 4 All combines traditional seated and standing poses along with traditional breathing techniques to promote balance, flexibility, strength and relaxation. This class is appropriate for all levels of fitness from beginner to advanced.  Many options will be shown.  Perfect for families!

Gentle / Restorative Yoga

Cost: Free to all members

Gentle Yoga is a sequence of gentle poses which have been designed to relieve muscle tightness, awaken the spine, nourish the body and create a feeling of well-being.  This class will move at a gentle pace. A good option for beginners, and those recovering from injuries.  You will experience deep rhythmic breathing accompanied by simple stretches in a safe and comfortable setting.  Options shown and props will be used to make you more comfortable.

Heated Hatha Yoga (70-80 degrees)

Cost: Free to all members

Traditional style to build a foundation of Yoga.  Designed to work all areas of the body in an intelligent sequence to help improve and restore optimum health and vitality to muscles and internal organs.  All ages and fitness levels welcome.  This is  great class to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable in yoga.  Adequate hydration is suggested.

 

Heated Hatha Challenge (70-80 degrees)

Cost: Free to all members

Stretch into a more challenging territory.  A sequence designed to work the whole body with more emphasis on upper body strengthening, including balancing and core strengthening.   Advance your practice with longer held, more challenging postures done at your own pace with tips on technique and correct sequence to further your progress.  This 75 minute format will have you sweating and achieving all the healing benefits a heated room can bring.  Adequate hydration is suggested as you will likely sweat more.

Heated Vinyasa Yoga (70-80 degrees)

Cost: Free to all members

Dynamic fluid movement linked to breathing with an emphasis on alignment (moving from pose to pose on the next inhale and exhale).  The heated room will increase the internal body temperature and allow a more effective, deeper stretching experience.  Adequate hydration is suggested as you will likely sweat more.

Yin Yoga

Cost: Free to all members

Yin Yoga is a mild form of Yoga involving slow, passive stretching, working on a deep level.  Poses are held for an average of 3-5 minutes, nourishing the joints.  These longer holds allow time to surrender to the pose which brings healing to joints, muscles, and organs.  Options shown and props will be used to make you more comfortable.  Great for injured athletes, weekend warriors and those who go hard and need to restore!

Pilates Mat Class

Cost: Free to all members

This class consists of floor exercises using Pilates principles. This method of physical conditioning is designed to isolate and work muscle groups without stressing the joints. Focusing on core strengthening, flexibility, and posture: enhancing over-all well being, ease of movement, strength, and appropriate body and postural alignment.

Yoga was originally taught by the ancient sages as a one on one discipleship experience. Modern day Yoga classes are excellent and rewarding in a group setting. If you are looking for a more individualized experience, help with your poses, or a chance to take your practice to the next level we offer private, 2, 3, and 4 person sessions by appointment.
